CCRC 1 Year, 10 Months ago
What is shocking about this case is the timing. How on earth can the wrongful convictions have taken the CCRC so long to expose? Almost everyone involved died years ago, their lives ruined (including the bent cop).
The CCRC are not fit for purpose. END OF.

Given their backlog and the time it takes for anyone to be reviewed, should they not be concentrating on people who are alive and locked up? Just seems like common sense to me...

It would be nice to review old cases relayting to the deceased to clear names; but while some sit in prison unjustly, surely a luxury they are not in a position to reaponsibly provide peesently?
