TOPIC: Women's football ought to be called NETBALL

Women's football ought to be called NETBALL 1 Year, 10 Months ago
It's like netball using the sweet mimsy little feet and body muscles built to produce and nurture babies, not to kick (or save) heavy footballs. No wonder unexpected teams keep beating the bigger names - it's all an amusing game, pretending to be men. Squeaks of joy, hair everywhere, power and skill slightly above the level of small children.

I don't know of one who it watching it or following the women's World Cup nor is it shown at my local boozer.

All spectator sports are the same to me any way.

Unless the rules have changed and the ball is now pushed along with a penis, I don't think it is just for men.

Oh Wyot, you were the king of sledging and no doubt the master of chewing tobacco in your cricket era.

If you did pillaging Surrey would Croydon back in no time.

I really enjoy the women's game and for me there is plenty of skill on show...

GM - we didn't really sledge as such 30 odd years ago (bit of friendly banter at worst). I played amateur league to clarify, but perhaps because the sledging was not picked up on TV we didn't imitate.

Power of media again!

So a lot of ball tampering went on, especially when the ball landed in the privets.
