Trump banned? 1 Year, 10 Months ago
I'm sure JK likes Donald for the chaos he causes but I look at it purely politically and feel sure the hidden Conservative Establishment don't like anyone (who owes me money ) having so much power.

discuss:

Adding insult to injury for Trump, the Conservative Federalist Society argues that Section 3 of the 14th Amendment — known as the insurrection clause — is "self-executing, operating as an immediate disqualification from office, without the need for additional action by Congress. It can and should be enforced by every official, state or federal, who judges qualifications. It covers a broad range of former offices, including the presidency. And in particular, it disqualifies former President Donald Trump, and potentially many others, because of their participation in the attempted overthrow of the 2020 presidential election.”

For me not a lot to discuss. There is plenty of evidence (from his own mouth) he was a traitor to his country, has no patriotism only self interest, and should be barred from standing for office.

For me the the fact that he should be barred from attempting the English language or standing within 30 yards of any female (again, not media, but his own foul words) no doubt influences my thinking somewhat; so I would be keen to hear other views on this!

I don't like anything about Trump and loathe virtually all of his policies but I admire his courage in standing up against media and the pressure of his opponents.

I wonder though if it is "courage", as such? Perhaps he is just unable to act in any other way than as a grand narcissist with a personality disorder/sociopathic tendencies...

As a Brit who has never been to the USA and has no plans to ever visit the USA, I like Trump as a character and I admire that he did not start any wars (despite forecasts from mass media that he would) and he did a lot to promote law & order and create wealth among the poor in society. He is also part Scottish which is never a bad thing.

he should lay off calling Biden a crook as I think if he's convicted he'd get a presidential pardon to save the USA the indignity of a president going to jail.

I'm not sure a country who elected Trump has any dignity at risk remaining...
