I was joking about the hair - but a few minutes later a bimbo was sent off - to do her hair!
Spain were the better (I use the word lightly) team against Sweden, I thought. Ditto against England. Nobody seemed able to score goals (even Spain; that penalty was slower than I would have managed; and straight at the England bimbo keeper).

After Barbie, today was just another sequence from the (very good) film - women pretending to be men.

And the commentators? Appalling.

I agree the commentators were awful though - I was never sure who had just had a shot at goal it was all strangely flat...

Every time Spain got near the goal during the last 15 minutes the bimbo said "Could this be it?". It never was, of course; women seem almost incapable of scoring goals a bit like men are totally unable to carry a child inside them for 9 nonths.

Well, for this comparison to carry weight JK, there must be more goals scored in men's tournaments or leagues than women's?

Or, women must be better at preventing goal scoring chances; so less goals are scored, which means they are better at defending football skills than men.

I have no idea about the stats.

However, from general observation I would say scorelines and defending efficacy are about the same in general betwen the sexes...
