Why does NOBODY point out that this is an INNOCENT MAN??? The Presumption of Innocence still exists, does it not? And how about examining police and CPS use of terrorist legislation against innocent people? They used it against me in 2018 - or tried to - thank God for a decent judge HHJ Taylor who refused their request. These are far more urgent questions that "how did he escape?". Are there no longer any decent journalists capable of spotting the great story? Despair.

I'm not against remanding in custody dangerous people (which police are now saying he is not) or those who might "do a runner" (which he has done anyway). But remand or not, this is an INNOCENT man unless or until he gets found guilty and is sentenced.

I wonder what the majority of the public think? Only the extremes tend to comment and most of them are believers of the negative (a far better story).
