I know nothing but surely the cop charged with murder must have had a reason for killing the guy. If it was just an accidental - and not deliberate - shooting, surely it's manslaughter. Or has the legal definition changed? As with rape - now a peck on the cheek is rape - perhaps "murder" is simply killing someone?
It could be murder. If there was no reason to fire an intention to kill could be determined. If the vehicle was stationary and the man complying. A few years ago I would have found it hard to believe of our Police, not so much now, sadly.
