Quite right - so they should. But will they be balanced and fair? Will they investigate whether any claims are false and opportunistic? And, if so found, will they prosecute the False Accusers - surely as serious a crime as the claims made? And if, on prosecution and at trial, found guilty - will the False Accusers be jailed for 18 years, as Carl Beech was? Or is that only if the claims are made against a dead Prime Minister? Questions Questions (which nobody else in media will ask).
