Watched for the first time since it came out - it really is an incredible film; you must catch it on iPlayer and make sure you see the show before it on the making of it.
One of my favourite horror films of all time, and very much looking forward to the new Exorcist coming out today, with Ellen Burstyn reprising her role. The first 40 minutes of the Exorcist could be shown on daytime tv, no bad language, no blood, no nudity, but then takes a dark turn
Yes extraordinary reflection on Humanity in 2023 that they simply could not make the original film again now. Linda Blair has grown up to be a very attractive, articulate and balanced lady.

Not another reboot?
I hated the Evil Dead reboot. The Original trilogy is good perfect.
In Evil Dead 2, Ash had a chainsaw. Evil Dead 3, What the fuck was that about?
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remakes/reboots did nothing for me. I have no idea why the original was banned in the UK? There's hardly any gore just screaming and running around. The soundtrack is more demented than the film.
