I just listened to a great Interview with Phil Wainman and it was fascinating.. Unfortunately the interviewer didn't expand (or possibly understand)
some of the things Phil talked about .. such as Phil's input into the arrangement and performance of The Ballroom Blitz,
also mentioned creating a tape loop of the chorus on the Bay City Rollers song Bye Bye Baby and fly-in the chorus on all subsequent chorus's.

Also mentioned that working with Nicky Chinn/Mike Chapman on The Sweet records and how it great working with the band but wasn't a particularly enjoyable experience with the Chinnichap backroom team as they always a lot of conflict and problems
Interestedly, till this day Phil still has two active companies with Nicky Chinn (Chinebridge Ltd and New Dawn Productions Ltd).
JK I seem to recall you also worked with Phil Wainman I think it was on the early Bay City Rollers singles..
Do have a listen, plus he's down an interview for Cherry Red Records that's worth listening to also.
