The former Blue Peter presenter Yvette Fielding has a memoir out soon and has given an interview to The Sun claiming that Rolf Harris squeezed and patted her bottom (one of the four accusers in his first trial claimed he'd squeezed her left buttock, changing her story mid-trial from an age of 14 to 17, the event and venue to match a TV event he attended in a Cambridge park in the 1970s) and that Jimmy Savile was "grotesque" by holding and stroking her hand and telling her to look into his eyes and say what she was thinking.

As far as I recall from the media reports, which I was glued to at the time, there was no mention of the accuser being reprimanded, and the judge's sentencing remarks - available online - don't mention that she changed her story. All you can do is temper it through civilization, compassion and education.

I actually think reading (empathy) is the key; as well as the emancipation of females in religiously misogynist societies.
