As expected - Judges nearly always refuse the first appeal - it's automatic. It took Andrew Malkinson 17 years for his obvious Miscarriage of Justice to be overturned. It's taken me 24 years and STILL hasn't happened. The Judge clearly did not read the New Yorker article or consider Journalists worth paying attention to. In legal minds, police and lawyers and fellow judges are far better than hacks or Private Investigators.
