I love Latvia there is a lot hospitality jobs going there and start up techy jobs. The language is very easy to learn, it's easier than French and German IMHO.

A lot of young people block buy hotel rooms because it's cheaper than renting in the UK, and they do do their remote work on a laptop.

Almost every year I go to Slovenia my sister and brother in law have a second home there. The language is bit tricky to speak in Slovenia but the younger generations do speak a fair amount of English. It's a lot of tongue twisting and very monotone. Again a lot jobs people do there is remote IT stuff.

There is not enough money in the world for me to back there, when I do go back it's only to visit my parents graves.

A lot of friends have moved from Ireland for the Isle of Man, Channel Islands and Liverpool.

A lot of Yanks think the Electoral College is a real college Hedda. New York is called "A Silly Place" for a reason.

I once caught a train from Pennsylvania to NYC and Joe Biden (he was just a new senator then) sat opposite me reading papers.
