Utterly perplexed by this..rape of enemies (Palestinians in the case) appears to be accepted as a weapon of war by Israel despite Israel claiming the Hamas hostages were raped (none to date have said they were).

A mob stormed an Israeli prison ..it included Knesset MPs..when 9 prison officers were arrested for raping Palestinian prisoners (hostages?) but it was all show as they were soon released.

The Knesset actually debated whether rape can legitimately be used by the IDF.

The head Rabbi of the IDF confirms rape is acceptable for Israeli fighters should the urge arise.

Meanwhile my favourite Israeli commentator Norman Finklestein whose parents were Holocaust survivors sadly reports Bibi Netanyahu is highly popular and there is no organized parliamentary force nor army generals who will take him down and says the number of Israelis protesting the Gaza invasion only numbers from 3.4% - 7%
