This time simply that incompetence tends to dominate and when there is an agenda (often rightly or understandably pursued) there can be terrible miscarriages of justice in the system.
Regardless of her guilt or innocence this case continues to raise so many troubling questions about the momentum, biases and processes behind investigation, prosecution and trial; that one can only hope some good will come out if it for the criminal justice system.
(What scares me is that the majority can't see that she should be released if the conviction is not sound, without knowing whether she killed the babies or not...)
