He specialises in the area of brain injuries and personal injury and told me that the amount of false claimants (we've all seen those TV clips of paralyzed victims surfing or shopping) has exploded and often ends with the fundamentally dishonest claimants going to prison. What started as a great idea (people who cannot afford it) has become a criminal operation. Also agreed about the incompetence of lawyers - Oliver Campbell - 34 years for crimes he did not commit; due to useless lawyers defending him. These days many No Win No Fee lawyers are snake oil salesmen and often it's the "clients" who suffer. "You've got nothing to lose" they tell potential victims who sometimes end up in jail.
