A decent human being would say "Yes I was in charge and clearly the allegations were at best exaggerated and at worst fictional. The CPS were right not to prosecute someone for trying it on as a rapist".

But this is the man who told police to tell accusers "You will be believed even if you are lying". Karma has him in her sights.

I'm sure I read an article somewhere three or four years back in which Paul Gambaccini said Starmer was unfit to serve in any kind of public office.
