A very big October surprise - US Election 8 Months, 2 Weeks ago
The rumour mill is increasingly suggesting Biden will resign before 5th November to hand the Presidency to Kamala Harris making her the incumbant sitting President on election day in the hope that it dramatically increases her chances of winning.

Is this the ultimate October surprise of all time about to happen? She's already been handed the nomination on a plate, maybe she's getting the Presidency on a plate next.

Thoughts on this? They've pulled every other desperate stunt so far to stop Trump, this doesn't seem so hard to imagine.

I'm going to put some money on this at the bookies tomorrow. Long odds I think but feels possible. It never even crossed my mind.

While I'm not overly impressed by Harris but I'm really alarmed by Trump and think he's deteriorating badly as is Biden.(so am I and I'm not their ages !)

Some of the things Trump is saying at rallies are incomprehensible. His total lack of knowledge of the world stage are absolutely frightening.

However both Harris and Trump will continue to allow Israel to perpetuate it's mass destruction in the ME and this is truly scary.

There are 250,000 Lebanese in Australia and I've now heard family friends of mine have lost a relative in the Beirut bombings..a young man.. which is so distressing.

There are 6 million Jews living in the USA..the largest concentration is in Brooklyn which also has the HQ for the Torah Jews who bitterly oppose Israel's actions.

I wonder how Trump's exhortation that if he loses it will be the US Jews fault will play out..all so bizarre.

I was unhappy when Trump won in 2016 and in 2020 backed Biden and was appalled by Trump's lie about a stolen election and no show at the inaguration and failure to concede. But in 2024 I'm backing Trump without a second thought. Kamala Harris is just not up to the job, that's why she's hiding so much from serious scrutiny and media questioning other than a couple of soft ones with friendly networks. I'm also encouraged by Trump's VP choice and would be comfortable with President Vance. I look forward to the VP debate on Tuesday night.

Yes I do think the Dem's are capable of doing an actual Presidential switch in October. Anything's now possible in politics these past eight years. The country might feel less inclined to throw a brand new President out after just two months in office, I get that dynamic. If Trump still won in such a scenario he'd have to get the merchandise changed, he'd not be 47 but 48. It's one to watch for sure.

Hillary Clinton actually thinks the October surprise is going to be a major story promoted by Russia/China/Iran smearing Kamala Harris with a big accusation that will be planted in the media and taken up by the mainstream.

I was impressed enormously by JD Vance last night in the VP debate against Walz where he whacked his opponent and the moderators too. It would have swayed me if I'd got a vote over there. I think he's probably done the Trump campaign some good there and I can see Vance as a future President. So if Democrats start panicking again maybe Pelosi will drop in on Biden and issue more threats unless he resigns in favour of Harris to give her a better shot. I can see it, but what a humiliation for Biden and it would taint his own Presidency, but the desperation to keep Trump out is at derangement levels and deranged minds can do anything.

No sign of any kind of October surprise yet.

If Trump wins I hope he does I will open some champers.

I would not be surprised if Harris is President before the election, the Dems will do anything. Like getting dead people to vote and blocking poll watchers from entering the buildings.

Whoever will stop Nutteryahu from his tit for tat slaughter house mentality would get my vote. And it wont be Trump. I'd vote Harris just as a roll of the dice.

I still think this is a very genuine and realistic prospect just like I put in my opener. Biden steps down a fortnioght or ten days before election day leaving Harris the incumbant. There are different views on how this would affect things. I think it would boost her to win the election perhaps easily, others think it could backfire spectacularly. If he did step down, rather than drop dead in office, I would say this could be treated as election interference, just what the Democrats like to complain about. They are certainly very desperate to win, far more than Trump is I'd say, even with a useless Kamala candidate, so anything remains possible even just two and a half weeks from the Presidential Election.

Doesn't sound like a very clever plan and I seriously doubt it.

It would be like the Democrats somehow admitting that Biden was not up to par and the opposition's claims were justified.

I'm no fan of Harris as I believe she will continue to arm Israel and their scorched earth campaign and I'm pretty sure Trump will do likewise.

My guess is Kamala will win and win well. But ex-MP George Galloway went on record tonight on his show to say that Trump is going to win by a landslide and even take New York and he does have a knack for making accurate election predictions. But I still think it's Kamala and not that close, although not based on any special information, just gut feeling. I wish they could both lose. We had the October surprise back in July.

There are suggestions that Trump is planning to come out early on election night and declare victory even if he's looking like he lost.

If Harris wins, America will be even more fucked up the ass. More debt, crime, one step closer to a global government and less ownership.

Wait until the South American countries are further down in the crapper.

We were warned about Agenda 2030 but some people are focusing on distractions like sports, smartwatches and the latest must-watch film on Netflix.

Galloway can be a mischievous person and I reckon he'd welcome a Trump victory.

I can't see he'd get a landslide especially seeing he lost by so many millions last time.

I can't recall his name but that bloke who has accurately picked the winner for decades via "scientific" data is calling it for Harris.

Trump may well call victory early and rely on the friendly Supreme Court.

I predict chaos.

Chaos is what deep state want, a divided country is a weak country.

The MSM have stirring up trouble to make sure there is trouble erupting in November and December, the Christmas season.

Look at who owns the massive news outlets across the States.

If he takes New York, he would send The Guardian and their ilk to a meltdown, they said he has no chance there. It's very blue but they have bused many illegals over and the police have lost control in general.

Trump put on another 12 million votes between his 2016 win and 2020 loss. I think he went from 63 million to 75 million. Most elections that was a winning amount but Biden increased Hillary's 65 million up to 81 million somehow.

I thought 2016 would have been Trump's high water mark and couldn't believe he gained a further 12 million. As he says, it was the highest ever vote for a sitting President, including all those who got re-elected.

Many inforned sources I've read say that Harris being level or even just one or two points ahead nationally does not win it for her and that she needs to be at least 4 to 5 points ahead of Trump nationally to win the electoral college. Don't forget that Hillary was two points ahead of Trump in 2016 in actual vote share but lost the college.

That chap that claims to have predicted the elections correctly for the past 40 years or so isn't strictly correct. He brags about this and his method with his keys method but he got one of the elections wrong I believe. He hasn't got any more of an idea who is going to win the election than any of us on here.

It's a unique election where you can compare both Presidential candidates time in power against each other.
