TOPIC: Oct 7th - a celebration
#248955
Oct 7th - a celebration 8 Months ago
Around the world people are celebrating this day when sanity left humanity.
HAMAS showed death is fine with the right excuses.
Israel showed the same.
Hezbollah joined in.
Then so did Iran.
Oh what fun! Humans killing humans for stupid reasons.
Fuck off the lot of you.

I reckon, if asked, 99% of living Gaza Palastinians would say "release all the hostages".
99% of Israelis would say "Stop killing Gazans and Lebanese".
99% of Lebanese would say "remove Hezbollah now".
But that rogue 1% of loonies keep killing.
STOP IT NOW!
Send in 100,000 United Nations peacekeeprs to stop this madness.
Send in 100,000 volunteers to rebuild Gaza.
Simples! Where is Homer Simpson when you need him?

Israel's victimhood is pretty damned staggering. To mark the even of their tragedy they bombed firefighters in Beirut. Men who were trying to save lives. Israel bring shame on all of their ancestors who perished in WW2. And they are now the most hated State on earth. Well deserved.

It's like toddlers squabbling in a sandpit, except with deadly weapons. If only an old-fashioned nanny could put Netanyahu and everyone else contributing to this across her knee.

Jonathan, you're the Prime Minister of Israel on the afternoon of 7th October 2023. What is your plan going forward to deal with the situation you suddenly find yourself in? How would YOU deal with it.

Human beings are capable of such magnificence and beauty, yet also the most depraved ugliness and pointless destruction too.

I'm glad to say I'm not the Prime Minister of anywhere but the way the USA dealt with 9/11 seems appropriate.

But isn't that what Israel is doing? Invading a sovereign country (Lebanon/Afghanistan) that harboured a terrorist organisation (Hezbollah/Al-Queda) in order to destroy said organisation?

The USA sent a tiny task force into another country to target and remove one man. Israel are like a country, when a leader is assassinated, bombing another country. You do NOT invade and kill thousands in retaliation to the crimes of a few unless and until a country/leader declares war on a country, in which case, like Russia/Ukraine, others rightly get involved.

I had a quick read back over the early US incursion into Afghanistan and yes - mine is not a meaningful comparison JK. Withdrawn!

JK wrote, "The USA sent a tiny task force into another country to target and remove one man."

Another fake pretext falsely linking Osama and Saddam to 9/11 perpetrated by CIA/Saudi/Mossad pre-wiring THREE towers for later controlled demolition. Echoes of Jerusalem's UK base King David Hotel bombed by Zionists in '46, and Brighton's Grand Hotel bombed by the IRA in '84.

In 2003 against a Lawful U.N. Resolution and NO Iraq WMDs found by U.N. Weapons Inspectors. Aspiring War Criminals George W. Bush and Tony Blair mobilized more than 170,000 US/UK Troops to illegally invade and destroy Iraq for 8 years with their theatrical 'Shock and Awe' HollyWeird style 'War on Terror'.

24/7 misrepresented for more profit by US/UK 'Shocking WHORES' fake media.

Plus largely unreported $Billions in re-build contracts for Bush V.P. Cheney's construction company Halliburton, and all the usual U.S. Military Industrial Complex War Profiteers.

Same ole fake tune playbook for kept dumb cheap fiddles. So, no (£oo$e) change there.

Not quite the answer I expected.

This was a 20 year operation, they found the man they wanted in 2011 in another country entirely and then stuck about for a further ten years, leaving the place worse than when they arrived.

Also, not just the USA, we here in the UK sent plenty. We lost about 450 of our forces remember too. I knew a 20 year old who was sent to Afghanistan in about 2010 (the deadliest year) and his grandparents who knew WWII were very unhappy about his deployment. He came back safely.

Your answer is no answer really is it, thus proving how difficult these decisions are in the face of a terrorist amoral death cult.
