Far and away my favourite sport when I lived in America - there is just a tiny possibility that this year's World Series will be a "Subway Series" - both New York teams, the Mets and the Yankees. I went to every game of the last Subway Series in 2000. In fact that was the main reason I turned down £250,000 a show (filming) to be the Judge on ITV's Pop Stars and suggested Simon Cowell instead.
