A question I was only asking someone in person this very week - HALF A BILLION POUNDS. That's £500,000,000.

What did we get for our money? An even worse situation this year.

Why is it that elected politicians are the only ones who can waste such vast amounts of money on an industrial scale and not be accountable, even criminally so, for the misuse of public funds, and still come back for more taxation. In any other occupation you'd be out of a job and possibly in the courts.

So what did the French actually do with it, does anyone actually know, has anyone asked in parliament and got the answer. If not, why not.

Labour voters are very silent, not forgetting it's over £8 million now to feed and clothe and house them.

So Labour are throwing away more money to France £75 million approx. I thought we gave France millions beforehand to stop them but the crossings still carried on.

Starmer's days are numbered, he will be pushed out like the Dems pushed Biden out. There was no second debate was there.

Still not smashing the gangs, I have no idea why people believed Starmer. UK will be finished in 20 years, not the 30-40 year timeline.

I'm not sure why migrants really want to end up in the UK when basically only a grim existence faces them.

We in the West have created these problems by blowing up so many countries and then just leaving and avoiding the consequences.

I totally agree Hedda. While life in the UK may not be comfortable for them it just goes to show what they are escaping...
And yes we are irresponsible cowards on the international scene...And at home the average commentator rarely talks about causes...just too difficult...
