If Trump wins his co-President (well he talks like he will be) Elon Musk now says they will tank the US economy in order to "re-set" it.

Trump has now said he will accept Project 24 which contains all sorts extreme measures.

It includes trashing Medicare, "Obama care" and preventing those with preexisting health problems from getting insurance (affects 2 of my best US pals with cancer) .

Gutting & firing all of the public service ,(nearly 20 million) FBI, CIA etc and replacing them with Trump loyalists. Ending state pensions.

When the USA gets a cold the world catches it.

Of course may all be just sabre rattling and even impossible to do and Musk can be mischievous at times..

A truly scary prospect. It really is outrageous that rich men can achieve such power essentially on the basis of their wealth. But it looks to me as if Trump will win, especially with Biden now having trumped the "Puerto Rico is a floating pile of garbage" comment by calling Trump's supporters "garbage". That must surely be the gaffe to beat all gaffes at the worst possible time and reminds everyone again of Hillary Clinton's "deplorables" comment in case they had forgotten.

Yep and China just waiting in the wings as this once great civilisation collapses through self-inflicted wounds...
