#I have a good friend with a substantial sheep property in the country. He leased part of his land for these windmills. He reckons they cause a racket sometimes which he can hear from house which is 3 miles away.
If I catch a train to the suburbs in Sydney I'm amazed that well over half the suburban houses now have solar panels so not only "free" electricity but many feed some back into the system and make a profit.
It is when they start doing un-whaley things and pacing, usually.
I sometimes wish they would simplify it in humans too and classify stealing and punching people as mentally ill and sling them into asylums.
These windmills also kill a shit load of birds but we are not allowed to mention that.
The windmills on the seas do affect the tides and waves. We are told to be green but we damaging habitats and ecosystems by going green. You can't have it both ways.
Trees thrive on carbon dioxide why do you want to stop that?
When I was in school in the early 1980s, my science teacher spoke about tidal power, he said it would years to get it going but it would be better than solar. We could have had tidal power by now if the UK knew about infrastructure. We still can't get HS2 right and I would say it has cost trillions, not billions.
The government and JSO never mention China and India who are the the main polluters.
It is like a weird cult, Greenman. Even when you prove to someone that their particular council is NOT recycling what they put in their boxes, they carry on anyway.
