Regulars know I'm not a Trump fan - I disagree with 90% of his policies and hope Harris wins though neither candidate seems much concerned with the killings in the middle East. However I thought the way his enemies tried to kill off his chances was despicable and there would be one silver lining to his election - he has encountered the False Allegations Industry and would be in a position to change the legal system which encourages and assists false accusers. Which might, in turn, alert the UK and elsewhere.

The young, as often, have it spot on. "Don't like either", they say, but will probably vote for Harris as the least worst.

It looks close but I suspect many simply refuse to answer pollsters asking for their intentions.

I've been wondering how many of those polled have been "shy" in saying who they intend to vote for. I suspect Trump is going to win. There seem to be more reports about him making inroads into certain demographic groups (e.g. young men, Hispanics (who are not all of Puerto Rican origin, so outrage about comedian's "garbage" comment may not be as widespread as Democrats hope) and African Americans) than about Harris winning over Republican voters. But Rory Stewart and the film-maker Michael Moore are convinced Harris will win, as well as an American professor of history called Allan Lichtman, who has apparently correctly predicted US election outcomes since 1984. Here's hoping they're right.

I do think Harris will win because it's one step closer to a singular global government.

People will own nothing that will include your pets, no doubt they limit how many times you can use the washing machine.

The government have made it harder to own birds even chickens, so the farmers have one more thing to worry about.
