Why the wait?
I'm not sure his memory is that good these days Hedda. But have faith in The Don. He is a man of his word and when reminded today of his promise I am confident we shall see peace fall on Ukraine at the weekend like Trump onto a Russian hooker...
Former President Donald Trump explained his plan to secure peace in Ukraine within 24 hours of taking back the White House on Sunday, saying he would tell Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to make a deal. www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-describes...ne-conflict-24-hours
He has a massive problem ahead of him. How to appease Israel and at the same time embrace Putin who is currently wining and dining Iran. Putin may sell Iran down the river mind you and watch the Middle East burn. Europe and a tiny insignificant Island called the UK in his sights for war.

What happened to "there is only one President at a time". There are protocols surely.
I'm surprised Trump's comment about sorting things as President-elect wasn't picked up on and confronted. There is already a government and a serving President, and it's not Trump...yet. He has to wait. I'd find it quite surprising if Biden or his team were allowing Trump's lot to do behind the scenes talks while the Democrats remain in power. Having said that, I guess there is no law that says Trump can't talk to Putin or anyone else about what he likes.
Putin's latching onto Trump on the talks issue is quite telling. The man is desperate to end it knowing he can't get what he aimed for in February 2022, why does he need North Korean troops otherwise, but Trump can't easily wish away the staggering war crimes Putin has been responsble for.
Trump and his lot boasted about there being no wars during his previous tenure, so does this mean Taiwan is less likely to be touched by China now he becomes President again, if we are to believe Putin would never have done Ukraine if he's still been there. Will China and Xi really fear Trump enough? For all that has been said, Trump might actually face the big one with Taiwan, then what?
