Poor, Prunella Scales.

She was terrible with fans and autographs, but he supported her and loved her dearly. If you wanted an autograph from Prunella, you needed to beg and promise that it wouldn't go on eBay...like that would rake in life-changing money.

I don't think I've seen anything Timothy has appeared in apart from Great Canal Journeys. It was very cosy to watch.

Indeed but it's so terribly hard when you have been with someone for decades and they die.

Believe me I know.

West was a wonderful actor..one I could always watch whatever he was in.

Yes me too Hedda and only three weeks ago today. From the tone of Carl's email he has never been through anything like this, and while I suspect he is unlikely wish likewise on anyone else, I wish it never happens to him, or any other poster or reader here.
