Having seen it yet again, it only compounds my opinion tha it is still Hitchcock's greatest work. The extraordinary set of the individual apartments..would love to know how they did it. Hitchcock takes the audience into Jimmy Stewart's small corner of the world; a menagerie of human creatures with the blinds drawn back, during a long hot 50s summer in Greenwich Village. No
spoilers in case someone hasn't seen it. Stewart as always makes film acting seem like a stroll in the park, alongside the beautiful, enigmatic and tragic Grace Kelly. Hitchcock's Masterpiece.

That's a great tribute to a wonderful film. It would be interesting to know how they constructed the elaborate set. I like all Hitchcock films but the one I keep going back to is Vertigo. Can't believe Hitchcock never won an Oscar.
