When will people learn that brown bears are aggressive? I love bears, and they are beautiful to look at in person but from a distance.

Just remember if you die with a pet in a house you are just meat to them and you will be chewed at.

Bears see us as meat, and we probably taste like giant juicy Porkchops or bacon rashers to animals.

Great shame the bear had to be shot. Remember that idiot who believed he could live alongside Grizzlys.? Both he and his girlfriend ending up as Grizzly Peperami sticks. No time for those that don't show these magnificent animals great respect.

Werner Herzog did a good documentary about the Grizzly Man.


Werner felt sorry for him but he also thought he was very deluded. If I recall correctly he thought he could live with the bears throughout Winter where food is scarce for bears. Talk about a Darwin award.

Treadwell did have some relationship with bears he spent over a decade at Katmai National Park without any problems. I want to know if he was lucky or kept his distance.
