After ludicrously joining the chorus that included toads like Keir Starmer in calling a bunch of Israeli football hooligans who attacked Dutch citizens who reacted against them.. a "pogram" on Jews..Amsterdam Mayor Femke Halsemahas now retracted her statements and put the blame where is lies.

This entire event was a classic football hooligan incident .started by the Israelis and the way they were initially coddled is quite shocking.

Good for the mayor. It's not often that politicians admit to making mistakes.

I wonder if the Israeli football hooligans felt emboldened by Trump winning the election, as the unrest seems to have happened a couple of days after that, or the just by the free reign Israel is getting from the international community to do what it's doing in Gaza/Lebanon.

I think it dawned on the Mayor that around a 5th of Amsterdam residents are Moroccan.
