In Syria Karma comes at last to those who killed and tortured opponents. We have all known about this for years - even before Assad's father, when, as a 17 year old, I left Damascus after waking up to witness a public hanging on my first morning in Syria, going round the world. "This country is not for me" I decided, boarding the next plane out.

Since then I've learned a lot about Karma, seeing false accusers and enablers (and even Judges and Jurors) suffer from it since 2000.

Assad has a new life in Russia. His Karma is a very shallow response. He's alright so to speak.
