Horrid jealousy and spite of JK Rowling. Mostly from failed authors I have found. Envy is perhaps the worst of all human traits.

I have to give Rowling credit, she is a self-made woman. Harry Potter was a bit of a flop but word of mouth and schools made it global.

I hate just adults and young adults who are fans of kids' books. When I was on holiday there was a couple on the beach going on and on about Potter...they were in their 50s.

It's good that Pink News have been taken down a peg(or 2).

Wrong. I picked up on Potter in the 1990s and even made a Tribute CD before it exploded (when the films started).

I have never read any myself or seen the films, but what on earth is wrong with reading for pleasure, however simple the book?
