TOPIC: Misogynist GPs

Misogynist GPs 6 Months ago
Allegedly. BBC news claims women suffering heavy periods are being ignored. So according to the BBC there is a two tier health system, one that treats men and neglects women. Stuff and nonsense. Or maybe I imagined my recurring priapism was routinely ignored by my GP as non-serious, until I was in agony and needing surgery to save my penis. I now have an inflatable implant. I sometimes think the media is doing it all it can to divide the sexes and have us males loathed. If we're not perverts we are now jumping the waiting lists leaving behind an ocean of females screaming in agony. Such bollocks.

Women do have complicated problems but most can be resolved by medication, or implants if they are in their 40s and 50s doctors like to wait for their menopause to start.

Surgery is very risky because it means burning of the tubes or whatever lining there is. It's not guaranteed success and things have gone wrong.

The NHS waiting lists have never been quick and depending on your location could be a factor also. The backlog might shrink by Spring after the OAPs have died from the cold.

Both sexes have bodies and problems. Having a painful erection for 12 hours at a time was not pleasurable. I later learned my symptoms were akin to being bitten by a Brazilian Wandering spider. As it turned out it was an allergic reaction to Trazodone. Missed completely by my GP. This story today suggests GPs are deliberately neglecting women and putting men as priority. I refuse to believe that.

No, it very definitely is a real thing. You get idiots of both sexes, of course, but the MUCH bigger problem (that they wont say outright) is of of cultural crap differences which affects the way women are treated.

Another issue is that for some daft reason, a lot of medicine was only ever tested on men.

Well if they are prioritising men that would at least be refreshing...

(But yes sounds like bollocks to me)
