Starting to have doubts again about his mindset to be honest. He now admits he has no real solutions to Ukraine/Russia war despite bragging he could end it in 24 hours. Some of the people he's employing are mostly wholly unsuitable and unqualified for their roles and appear to have been brought in as foot soldiers in a phoney war on Liberals and Anti Trumpeteers. Welfare cuts can never be anything but cruel from an Administration that is obscenely wealthy, and the stance on immigration and refusing citizenship to those born in the USA to migrants is abhorrent. We shall see. But Mistress Doubt is nagging.

Agreed. A President whose only policies are designed to help him and his own self preservation is a Third World dictator Presidency. Musk shouldn't be anywhere near any of it...and a good President wouldn't allow him to be.

I think was is increasingly evident is that Trump is actually only a distraction, and hands up the moron has distracted me enough. He has no ideas, just talks bluster, and does nothing.

It is the people around him, and now as others note particularly Musk, who are running the show. Running the USA. And I suspect they will find a way to perpetually run the USA.

Yes the media were so silent on Hunter Biden and the Ukraine claptrap weren't they.

It's not just Elon Musk it's the even scarier extreme right wing Peter Theil who is behind JD Vance. Both are products of Arpatheid (Musk's parents moved to SA because they approved of it)

Trump is now threatening to sue a polling company for putting Kamala Harris a few points ahead of Trump.

I think these are scarier indicators of what is to come. Trump coasted his first 4 years but he seems, if he is to be believed that retribution will mark his next 4 years. Or is it all just bluster?

The USA is in bad shape. If Trump implements "his policies" (he really hasn't a clue what he's talking about)..which seems to be the real policies of bizarro Elon Musk, the US is in a perilous state.

He's now talking back his claim that he would "bring prices down" (an impossibility if he brings in idiotic tariffs, and Musk takes an axe to Social Security and the Aged Pension (affecting some 67 million people),dismantles health care and deports millions of undocumented aliens which 70% of the farming relies on for cheap labour, even whilst being subsided it will be chaos and prices will skyrocket.

And remember, the absolute physically hideous and God awful Steve Bannon who has Trump's ear has stated their plan is to rip the US to shreds and that he is a Leninist..all this may happen.

The USA was a wonderful idea during it's lifetime but was not necessarily for always..

On a lighter note..the buzz in Paris is that Trump shat his pants and the odor was palpable at the Notre Dame re-launch which may explain some of the odd looks he got. Can't blame him though..he can't control such things.

Since Musk took over Twitter the establishment can't buy Musk out or influence him. They are admitting defeat but they still want Trump dead.

If Musk makes even more billions of dollars, he will probably buy YouTube from Google.

Trump needs Nicholas Sandmann and Kyle Rittenhouse's lawyers.

Sandmann and Rittenhouse were paid millions by the media and journos for defamation. The Guardian even had to settle out of court with both gentlemen.
