I tend to bury my head these days Barney. I used to be interested in the details but mankind just totally bores me now (not individual people).

We continue to lose wisdom while gaining in "intelligence".

The perils are obvious.

Impossible to analyse or take in the data!

Between the Congo and Sudan, 50 million people urgently need humanitarian aid.

The war in Syria has lasted 14 years - and those in Gaza and the Ukraine could well have a long term ahead.

Not helped by extreme climates, and a surprisingly inactive international community.

Israel continue heavy bombardment of Syrian military targets. Iran have threatened to retaliate. So it would seem Netty is on the side of Putin and Assad? Whilst Iran has Putin as an ally. Confused? You will be after this week's episode of Mad Bastards Rule the World.

This Geneva Academy piece confirms that armed conflict is currently taking place in 110+ countries.

More than half the countries on the United/Olympic Nations lists - and previously unheard of.
