A glorious 1947 with no CGI (not invented) but the far better substitutes (see the skating); with superb acting particularly David Niven and Cary Grant, nice slow credits showing Elsie Lanchester and Gladys Cooper (superb "supporting" in everything they did), marvellous music. Who needs remakes?
