Reading a lot about China these days and how they have not invaded or created a war since Mao and unlike the USA & it's allies (us) which has blown the world apart.

The insanity of Iraq where $trillions were spent removing the Taliban, destroying the joint (but not the oil) causing a million deaths and then handing the country back to the Taliban.

Never forgot my father's talks on China where he worked from 3 years in banking in the 70s.

He could not adequately describe the mindset where an entire nation works towards a chosen goal..in their case prosperity which has worked brilliantly . He thought they'd take over the world by 2050. May still happen.
