So says one of the men that invented it. Why? Because it's more intelligent than humans. WRONG! AI, like humanity, is simplistic. Great art, music, writing is complex. Deep. Because life is complex and deep. I think AI is more likely to destroy itself than us.

As long as they don't put AI in charge of nuclear weapons launch systems.....or come to think about it, maybe we should if they are more intelligent that us mere homo sapiens who were unintelligent enough to invent such dreaadful world ending weapons in the first place.

I think the potential is there to do enormous damage.

Doubt it can wipe us out but in the hands of the nefarious it will cause dreadful harm.

And as society is in the grip of worshiping absolute tools like Elon Musk as they think he's "clever" (so was Adolf Hitler) we are in for a rocky time.

I'm not sure if it's normal but I am so glad to actually be old..I have enormous sympathy for the today's young and feel they face a very scary future.
