$8,000,000,000 could probably tackle most if not all of the entire homeless problem across the United States couldn't it, to name one thing.

Always worth writing these monetary figures down with all their noughts to see the truth about the amount. It never ceases to amaze me how such vast sums can be found so easily for some things whilst politicians here and there complain that much more modest sums cannot be found for other things of real lasting value. (This is not an anti-Israel comment by the way)
