Many are hardliners - not least the first two, Noem and Homan. Their high profile roles seem to confirm Trump's policy of strengthening borders and addressing the migration problems.

A motley crew some with seriously dodgy backgrounds.

His first cabinet were mainly establishment but he seemed to fall out with most.

Wonder how long this lot will last.

Wonder which invasion will begin first? Canada? Greenland? Panama? China? I did temporarily give the guy the benefit of the doubt, and even considered that he might have solutions to current conflicts. Now I am thinking that he is seriously deranged all over again. If he had a proper working brain, he would ditch Musk pronto, and quit any talk of world domination. Gonna be a very worrying four years.

Some proposals are extremely odd and quite scary..like the bloke he put in charge of the FBI who wants to dismantle it.

Then how on earth will federal crimes be investigated?

How would internal terrorist threats be investigated?

By local police?

But local police every day have to call on the FBI to aid them in criminal investigations, to access finger print records and expert forensic services built up over decades

The chances are many of these things won't happen. But why even contemplate them in the first place?
