The rich and ultra-rich hide money overseas that the treasury never sees. The Middle East is a tax haven; it will be the next Jersey, Monaco, and Cayman Islands.

Give it more time, football and sports promotions will be jet-setting to the Middle East, I will not be surprised if Syria or Lebanon build stadiums on their borders next to Turkey.
