Best film in the BAFTAs - I'd have given A Complete Unknown the award but Conclave was the best of the rest. I was sad Marianne didn't win Best Actress for Hard Truths and Mike Leigh should have won Best Director. The Brutalist is a good film but far, far too long. I cannot comment on many of the awards, not having seen all the nominees. I'd have given Fiennes Best Actor. Edward Norton deserved Best Supporting Actor. I can't understand humanity - why did a very good movie (Perez) miss out on so many awards simply because one of the cast once posted strange Tweets? We really have become a lost species.
