Nathan Gill is accused of eight counts of bribery and one count of conspiracy to commit bribery.
The former leader of Reform UK in Wales has appeared in court accused of accepting bribes in exchange for making favourable statements about Russia in the European Parliament.
Nathan Gill is charged with eight counts of bribery and one count of conspiracy to commit bribery.
Westminster Magistrates’ Court heard Gill allegedly made statements in the European Parliament and in opinion pieces to news outlets, such as 112 Ukraine, which were “supportive of a particular narrative” which would “benefit Russia regarding events in Ukraine”.
The defendant is alleged to have been tasked by Oleg Voloshyn on at least eight occasions to make specific statements in return for money. ...

"In this week's "Fool of the Week," we call out GB News host Bev Turner for her jaw-dropping on-air blunder. After a Tory MP challenged her over attempts to push Russian propaganda, Bev Taylor not only mischaracterized the Ukrainian President’s actions but also shockingly labeled the conflict as a “special military operation.” Watch as we break down her most embarrassing moments, expose the misinformation, and ask the big question: how did this happen on live TV?"

I've never liked Bev Turner on that channel and don't watch any of her stuff there. This confirms my decision is the correct one. She sounded like a complete Putin apologist. Why are some people holding out on the truth about Putin and the type of regime he heads. Just look into Putin's face and eyes, there's not much humanity there. How she could use the Putin propaganda line "a special military operation" to describe a 3 year long conflict that has killed hundreds of thousands of people and destroyed entire cities is shameful on her part. But she seeks like a typical overconfident person with huge gaps in her knowledge. When you see things like that it does make you wonder if some people have been secretly bought by foreign powers within the UK media. I doubt she has but she gives a good try at appearing like it.

This is the geezer Richard Tice claims to have no knowledge of despite being photographed with him and posting it on Twitter with the caption "hanging out with Nathan Gill".

If the Kremlin is indeed bribing people in Reform UK, I see no reason why they wouldn't also be targeting the UK media and if GB News is sympathetic to Reform UK, it would seem a likely target. The guy sitting next to her doesn't contradict her either.

Hilarious!

The Trump/Russia/Ukraine issue could flatline Reform UK's further progress, or even worse, send it into decline if they associate too strongly to Trump's viewpoint.
I was pleased to hear Farage disagree with Trump and say that Zelensky was NOT a dictator as Trump asserted. It was essential Farage said that. Trump's and America's interests and Farage with Reform and the UK's interests are not aligned.
