Musk is undoubtedly insanely rich but that wealth is calculated by the price of his Tesla shares of which he holds millions and has been paid enormous dividends on.

However he has borrowed $Tens of $Billions against those shares which have lost a quarter of their value since late last year and seem to be sinking daily.

To have any product so aligned with the owner can be tricky. Musk has alienated people throughout Europe with his perceived "Roman" salute and support for a far right wing party in Germany, the AfD who preach WW2 Nazi policies.

Sales throughout Europe have plummeted yet other brand EV sales are up. That hideous truck (which owners seem to love) is banned in the UK and Europe over safety concerns.

When collapsing sales of a product reach a certain point the company can go belly up. The largest EU Superannuation fund has sold it's Tesla shares and recommended others do likewise.

I was a fan of EVs (only been in one..Tesla.. which was nice but I'm totally freaked by several things..the hateful IPAD type screens in the middle of the dashboard which a driver can keep fiddling with to change radio stations etc.

What happened to good old buttons you can feel for?. The very notion of automatic doors after 4 people were burnt to death recently when their Tesla doors locked.

The fire angle terrifies me. An EV in Seoul caught fire (EV lithium batteries can just randomly explode) and over 100 other cars in the car park were destroyed by the ferocity of the fire). The fact you sit right above lithium batteries which can spontaneously catch fire.

Tesla will implode at some near distant future. It's always been propped up government grants and loans.

Then we'll see that Musk is really just your every day billionaire but certainly not a Bevos or Zuckerberg.

Meanwhile he's wreaking havoc with DOGE firing 1000s of IRS workers but now asking them to return as it's tax collecting time, begging airline safety workers to return, alarmingly asking fired Nuclear experts to return..the list goes on.


And his sycophants just love it.
