Now I've turned 80 and with my pension failing to cover two areas - health and law - I'm having to sell off my music collection.
Going back to the 1950s and containing quite a few gems (like gifts from stars like Lennon, Hendrix, Harrison) - it's bye bye time to old friends.

What would be your plan anyway for all these items and more in the longer term after you've departed this mortal coil. They'd need another good home eventually wouldn't they. Will these be an auction sale?
It's a great shame JK. Everyone has to get rid off their collection sooner or later. I would be wary who you are selling to and where. You don't want to be lumbered with VAT.
And more good news JK. You're still a young man. Just checked. William Shatner 93 still working. Clint Eastwood, 94, still working. Eastwood to be fair, looks his age. Shatner looks amazing. The syrup helps.
