Sorry but I don understand the 'Debbie McGee is attractive' argument either!

Daniels is rich, he's rubbed everyone's face in that fact, but McGee is pretty?

Well written by Baddiel and undoubtably true, but it all stems from primeval innate triggers. We're still animals after all. Females look for a good specimen in order to produce strong offspring and/or a good provider to keep them safe. The prettier the female the more chance of her attracting the best possible mate.

Of course we humans think we're better than this and have glorified the idea of love. Where would art and literature and music be without it, but it all boils down to little more than the above.

Incidentally, I'm still single at the age of 44!
