Even if people walked on your land it's still a civil matter not a criminal matter, police will do very little about trespassers unless someone becomes harmed. Also if the horses are on the bridleway and take a fresh steamy shit just get a shovel and wheelbarrow out scoop it up and you have free natural fertiliser for your garden.

Looking at this bozo's map of where he thinks the bridleway should be he wants it next to his neighbour's house talking about being a NIMBY.
