I'm not a fan of many of his policies but he speaks well and makes sense.

Yes he actually says something doesn't he, rather than endless deflection and dissembling.

The trouble is because all the consensus politicians do deflect and dissemble, many people, in contrast when listening to the likes of Farage, believe they have stumbled on refreshing "truths.

(This is to make no judgment on Farage either way, merely to observe the dangers created by our current vanilla and cowardly political class).

He has gift of the gab, I have said before I saw him in the City with other Yuppies well over 30 years ago. He had them at the palm of his hands telling stories and bawdy jokes. Farage has a changed since becoming an MP. He pushed Rupert Lowe under the bus.

I am done with Farage also.

How you treat others says rather a lot about who you are as a person. Nigel seems completely smitten with this Zia Yusuf person because he's got a big wallet, but who is he and where did he come from? Meanwhile he has quite clearly mistreated Rupert Lowe and that stench will not go away very easily. Nigel has acted like he is very thick skinned but infact he's proving to be incredibly thin skinned in reality.

Whilst I still support Reform and Nigel, the shine has come off. He's made his party just the same pathetic squabbling mess that the other two have been. Not such a Reform there then! Let's also stop this fantasy and pretending that NIgel is going to Prime Minister by 2029, no he's not. I don't know why they keep rattling on with this line just because they are parity with the Tories and Labour. It's as unrealistic as David Steel and the SDP Alliance in the 80's saying "go home and prepare for government". They were level or even a bit ahead in the polls briefly at one point, but they were soon in the dustbin of history.

Muhammad Yusuf if you don't mind. Yusuf dropped Muhammad to sound less Muslim.

Farage is a grifter even Musk called out Farage. I wouldn't be surprised if Trump calls Farage out.

FFS along with Boris, the creep ushered in Brexit probably the most ruinous British decision (especially now with the tariff calamity) policy in modern British history.

Honestly I think some people would say a pleasant interview with Dr Crippen would probably mean he'd be a great family doctor.

And some people, Hedda, would believe that someone could not be both - a great doctor in certain circumstances but a killer in others. Like Trump (I do NOT like Trump) who may be fine at challenging conventional wisdom in some ways and be awful in others (like not paying you money he owes you).

Ironically UK has to pay 10% on tariffs, the EU members have to pay 20%.

Tariff decisions have been delayed for 90 days by Trump.

Do keep up

For some bizarre reason Rupert Murdoch is paying Farage a small fortune to regularly talk on his Australian version of Sky News.

It's very odd as although Murdoch dominates most of the Australian media..although the government funded ABC is more popular, his local Sky News seems a real wasteful boondoggle with viewers of most pundits like Farage getting around 20,000 viewers a night (out of a population of about 26 million).

maybe it's a tax write off. If he pays tax.

Especially that legacy media is a phone of the past. 20,000 viewers seems quite normal for a news outlet.

Now that many people get news from the socials and platforms like Youtube and Rumble.

So US tariff rates with the EU now remain at 10% just the same as the UK so the brilliance of Nigel & Boris' Brexit vanishes overnight according to the whims of D.Trump.

Trump's lies on stopping wars still remain though as the vile Netanyahu claims he and Trump agree on the "Gaza Riviera" to be built over the bodies of tens of 1000s of Palestinians.

If Karma is a thing, what type of utterly vile person would even dream of holidaying in a such a place. Perhaps Belsen should be made into a country retreat. Yes and Hamas are dreadful but did not cause the broken ceasefire.

Interesting thread (for those who care) on the devastation Trump's tariff war is already having on US small business.

At this stage the only people suffering from the "stable genius" Trump & his tariff lunacies are the American people & presumably millions of MAGA supporters who are mainly working class.

Could well be though numerous jobs for MAGA when say as an example, Apple invest $Billions in re-establishing a US factory, at the minimum wage of wage of $7.25 per hour which hasn't changed in 20 years.Plus food stamps as most on that wage need.

I believe China will win this "war" as they now form a huge trading bloc with NE & SE Asia, Japan, Korea and more importantly the world's most rapidly expanding economy, India.

(# those who choose the "shoot the messenger" approach can avoid)
