The love relationship that grows between Humphrey Bogart and Katherine Hepburn must be some of the finest acting in film history.

What a terrible loss Bogart was at just 57.

Years and years ago when I lived in a Mews St just at the beginning of the antique shops in Portobello Rd I came out one morning to a deserted street at 7am and saw just 2 lone ladies peering into an antique shop and then I heard that rather loud but legendary voice commenting on some fairground pigs in a shop window. She seemed to love them.

Seen plenty of celebrities but spotting an absolute legend was magic.

Yes Hedda - I'm sure you've also found one of the great advantages of getting old is that you can enjoy the old classics far more as we've forgotten much of the plots! I rewatched Calamity Jane yesterday having seen it again only a few months ago.
