Initially - locked away/incommunicado for 3 days, and sworn to secrecy; the length of the process is uncertain. The last two Popes were elected within the first 3 days.

I hope the new Pope has the qualities exhibited by Francis.

I have a real feeling an African Cardinal may be elected.
