I find it a bit offensive 3 Days, 13 Hours ago  
that the UK is celebrating VE Day when we are supporting similar behaviour by Israel in Gaza and Russia in Ukraine.
Let's celebrate the end of war as human beings, not as little Englanders.

Haven't watched any of the 'celebrations' on TV. Skipped the news. Watched This Is England instead. Haven't seen it for a while. Set in the 80s but a far more apt reminder of where we were always heading.

Israel wants to acquire territory. Putin is trying to acquire territory. Germany tried to acquire territory in WW2. All succeeded to start with - then failed later.

Putin isn't as nuts as Hitler. I don't think he's as nuts as Trump. I think he'd be quite happy with just Ukraine. I really don't believe he wants anything more. Starmer the Massive Chicken still wont condemn Israel, thinks he's being tough with Putin. Putin just laughs.
