BAFTAS 1 Week, 4 Days ago
Really good start of the show - makes you realise how many great TV shows there have been. And first award presented by two stars who will both be winning awards NEXT year (Adolescence).

Is it just me or was Tom Grennan singing in a different key to the backing? Could be my deafness. Not impressed by his song but then little impresses me in music these days. I'm a boring old fart.

And loved Ludwig (some of the nominees who didn't win).

I've never seen a duff episode of WILTY - one of my favourite ever shows.

Jessie J seems to have taken lessons from the appalling Mariah the Pariah - far too many notes for the melody.

I thought GAV and Stace would win Best Moment but Mr Bates should have... still Chris McC was fantastic on Strictly which never fails, does it?

I actually think this is one of the best Awards show I've seen ; same tired old formula but well done.

Best Actor should have gone to Toby Jones but Lenny James was brilliant in Mr Loverman (so was Richard Gadd).

Of course I wanted Sharon D Clarke to win (a friend and one of my artistes) but thought Monica Dolan deserved it - never saw the one who won it!

Alan Cumming was excellent. Loved all the mentions for Daniel Mays - one of my guilty faves since Vera Drake.

Mr Loverman, Industry, Blue Lights, Strictly, and Gavin and Stacey all winning awards
The decline of the BBC has been greatly exaggerated.
